How to brew V60 coffee?

V60 coffee is very popular between baristas and coffee lovers simply because it produces fantastic, clean and repeatable coffee. The V60 coffee dripper gives you full control of every brewing variable. The V60 is so named because of the 60° angle created by the cone shaping the letter V which allows water to flow through all parts of coffee, resulting in the evenly extracted cup of coffee. The large hole at the bottom enables the brewer to adjust the flavor of the coffee, by altering the speed of water flow.

The full process will take between 2 to 3 minutes

Tip: Making coffee for two people? Just double the amount of ground coffee and water.

    V60 Brewing Method:

    1. Boil 250ml of water and keep it in the drip kettle

    2. Grind 15g of coffee (medium-fine) grind

Tip: A medium to fine grind is best for your pour over. If the brew is too weak, try a finer grind. If the water drips through the coffee too slowly, make the grind coarser.

      3. Place V60 dripper on the coffee server, then add the filter paper and soak it with water.

      4. Remove the soaked water from the coffee server and place the V60 drip and the server on the scale.
      5. Reset the scale to zero, then add the grinded coffee and ensure that it is evenly spread.
      6. Start pouring the water to thoroughly wet the coffee, then wait for 30 seconds.

      7. Slowly pour more water, using circular motion, avoiding the edges where the grounds meet the paper.

      8. Stop pouring when the scale reads 250g.

      9. Drink and Enjoy

Tip: Experiment, fine-tune, and enjoy the process until you find your perfect routine.
